This song is a part of a musical score for the theatre play "Decameron" by G. Boccaccio.
In the episode "Archangel Gabriel" a priest Alberto, disguised as Angel Gabriel, visits at night a simple minded Lizetta. In her vanity she believes that Angel truly fell in love with her and she gives into his desire.
The music was commissioned by GITIS Scandinavia.
