I wrote this power ballad for the American Idol Songwriter Competition. It can fall into numerous genres depending upon the chosen arrangement. It was sung by a dear friend, Elisa Furr.

Story behind the song
American Idol wanted a song relating to an inspirational journey which would fit the finale for the show. I feel that if you want to truly discover yourself, then a good route is to reach out and then see yourself within your relationship to others. Communication is the key to all things.
