The first stint of this band formed in the late 80's and played into the early 90's. We recorded two albums. The genre then was blues/rock/jazz fusion, featuring keyboards, drums, electric guitars and a dash of piano. Back then we had 5 members total: two drummers, two guitarists and one keyboardist/pianist. I have kept the name for an updated version. Right now, there are two members, myself (guitars) and my son (drummer, sound engineer).

Story behind the song
By BFlatMajor's son himself, on Squier Strat and Tama drums. Similar sound setup as would be used in The Invasion in 2007. I recall this piece as being the first I really enjoyed from his "workshop" of mixing together various sounds he created from different takes of his own on drums and that inexpensive Squier. I knew then that we must work together on some material. Thus, this piece really "is" the inspiration behind the rejuvenation of the Norwood Basement Band. Maybe we should rename ourselves to Norwood Front Parlor...hehe...just kiddin'...the original name from before my son was born has that tendency to cling. At any rate, enjoy this particular experiment.
