ShyAnne wrote this song about her great grandfather and great uncle that played the guitar and fiddle at country square dances. The dances were held at family farms in the barns.

The music was recorded at the Cypress Room Studio in Nashville TN by HIT songwriter and recording artist, Don King along with his session musicians. The guys did a wonderful job!
Uncle played the fiddle, Pappa strummed guitar
Brother picked the banjo, Their notes did never spar
Weekends were so lively, Out there on the farm
BRIDGE:
Fidd’lin and a strumming through the night they’d go
Set our feet to dancing when they picked up the bow
CHORUS:
Fiddle Dee Dee Tap that Toe
Strum that note Do Si Do
Fiddle and Strum Come and see
Spin her –round Hoe down with me
Loaded up the wagon with the Fiddle and guitar
Bundled up so warmly set out to travel far
People were a-wait’n to spin round the barn
Fidd’lin and a strumming through the night they’d go
Set our feet to dancing when they picked up the bow
CHORUS:
Fiddle Dee Dee Tap that Toe
Strum that note Do Si Do
Fiddle and Strum Come and see
Spin her –round Hoe down with me
Fiddle Dee Dee Good old fun
Fidd’lin in the barn’s for Everyone
Danced a little two-step with a country swing
Steps set to the caller as the fiddle it did sing
Until the dance is over we’ll stomp and we’ll swing
Fidd’lin and a strumming through the night they’d go
Set our feet to dancing when they picked up the bow
CHORUS:
Fiddle Dee Dee Tap that Toe
Strum that note Do Si Do
Fiddle and Strum Come and see
Spin her –round Hoe down with me
Fiddle Dee Dee Good old fun
Fidd’lin in the barn’s for Everyone
