Dedicated to my Creator, who taught me the meaning of submission over the past year.
The lyrics are sung to my Creator as well as to my husband.
This song is dedicated to my Creator, who taught me the meaning of submission over the past year. The lyrics are sung to my Creator as well as to my husband. I have come to understand that submission has mainly do to with trust. Trusting who you ask? ... Trusting God! For He knows what He has planned for me, and has ordered the steps of my life. All that is left up to me is to trust and obey! (What revelation!) I may not always understand why, but the Holy Spirit will reveal those things that He wills in His time. Therefore; yes, I am entitled to my opinion, feelings and perspective on a matter, BUT I must trust and have faith in Him and His choice of the person that He puts in authority in my life. this is the reason "Why I Love You," Lord. You taught me to trust You by trusting my husband, Carlos, for he is the authority You placed in my life. Life is a lot more enjoyable and full of joy under submission, for it takes all the guesswork and worrying out and gives room for faith and love to operate wholly in our lives. You know God keeps His promises. "Delight (yield/submit) yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desirees of your heart!" (Psalms 37:4)
(Intro .. whisper)
I love You … I love You
(Chorus)
Dependable, righteous
Continually gracious
That’s the reason why I love you.
Patient, piety
You have just what I need
It’s the reason why I love you.
(Verse 1)
As I breathe the air
So love flows through me.
You always find a way
To show me You’re near me.
You’re so good to me
Never let me down.
I always can depend
On Your love for me.
It don’t ever change
Our love will never end.
(Repeat chorus)
(Verse 2)
My heart beats to the rhythm,
Rhythm of Your soul
And how we are connected
Only You know.
How I want to be
With You always
That is my desire.
You were made for me
I was made for You
Together we’ll be.
(Repeat chorus)
