I threw this up here for old-times' sake. It's a song by Andy Shelby, written for Surviving The Horizon, my band from a year ago. Yup, it features some mellow studio drumming by DaMiGe. (unlike the usual chaotic DaMiGe drumming style, mind you)

Story behind the song
This 'rock' recording sound was a breakthrough in my way of thinking about audio engineering, as it came out sounding fairly professional thanks to my man, Michael Spooner, who helped to engineer the recordings. He showed me that there truly is limitless possibility in what you can achieve through outside-the-box ingenuity towards technique within the audio engineering realm.
Lyrics
if i had the perfect dream that no one believed in that took my own breath away would you listen? if i made the great escape and nobody saw me would you stand on the window's edge and call me? i don't want to take another breath without a reason to live i don't want to feel joy all alone i'll share it with the one that i love if all life was swept from earth but i had a hold of that breath that i'd saved for you would you live too? i'll save it for the one that i love i'm not going to make another wish heaven must be a mess from the scattered bones of the waiting i know that you're waiting.
