Story behind the song
Watari's saga continues! I've been working on this since 2:00AM and I think I have a decent version already. It started out as a cover of a Kraftwerk song (Pocket Computer I think --- was programming from memory) planned as a medley with NAFT's Watari's Machine, but I got lazy and ended up with another version of my song. More about Watari's Machine, it's the story of a droid/computer who fell in love with his owner, Watari. I hope you don't get weirded out because of the male singing voice. Even New Order sang about a woman's story in 1963 and pulled it off. And besides, the whole metrosexual/adrogyny thing is in the mode. So I have an excuse. =P This song also started the project Watari's Machine that concentrates more on synthesizer music especially 80s synth music.
