Let it Out is a little confusing, even to me as the writer. It's an angry song, about twisted love, about one person manipulated by the other and then learning over time how to manipulate that person right back.

Patrick (Paddy) Gibney was born in Dublin, Ireland on October 25, 1968. He came to the United States in 1987 on a soccer scholarship at the prestigious Fayetteville Academy in Fayetteville, North Carolina and went on to graduate magna cum laude from Methodist College, also in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He entered graduate school at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina but decided to follow his dreams and become a songwriter/singer/guitarist. Paddy Gibney is currently teamed up with Bill Ayerbe, a very talented, classically trained violinist/fiddler. Bill is originally from Jersey City, New Jersey - just across the river from New York City. He studied at the notable Ukrainian Institute of America in New York City and attended New York University and Creighton University in Nebraska. After a stint in the US Army he remained in the Fayetteville, North Carolina area. Bill is also the concertmaster for the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Cumberland Oratorio Society in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Paddy & Bill are currently located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. They are playing to packed houses in the North and South Carolina area. Their music spans a very wide range from moving ballads to rock and ribald pub songs. The pub songs, notably The Pussy Cat Song, Alice, Seven Drunken Nights, etc, draw a very large following from the local college community and from the military community at nearby Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base. Their fan base is now extended worldwide due to the connection to these installations. They have 4 CD albums to their credit and also 1 CD single and 1 audio cassette tape. Their second CD album, Live-Love-Now, is all original songs written by Paddy Gibney. The CD single, Diana, is also an original song written by Paddy Gibney. All proceeds from the Diana CD are donated to the British Deaf Association. The remaining 3 CD albums, Uncircumcised, Live at the Radisson and One Drunken Night, and the cassette tape, Live at the Shanakee, are live recordings.

Lyrics
I'm your good, You're my bad I'm the love you cannot have You're the weak, I'm the strong But don't worry baby, it won't be long The time has come to exorcise, demonize and realize You're angry. You're Angry. So let it out. The tolling bell rings in your head You can't remember what I said You twist the truth so easily You strip me bare for all to see Here before you stripped I stand But I know the clothes don't make the man You're starting now to see the light You're angry. So let it out. Let it out. Let it out. (Mother) Mother, Come and rescue me (Brother) Brother, All's not what it used to be (Sister) Sister, Try to understand This little boy was made become a man. Another one has turned out bad It's an easy life they think you have A sad soul in designer clothes With a secret life that no one knows. I've seen the lonely tears you've cried I wish I didn't have to lie But you like to use and you use so well To the beat of the tolling bell Let it out. Let it out - baby - Let it out. Let it out. You come to me in a vision The centerpiece of your religion You question my decisions Your anger is my mission Let it out. Let it out. Let it out. La La Let it out. La La Let it out. (OH NO) Not again. It comes around. In the end) Don't you love me. Please don't love me Don't you love me.
