What do we feel about the down trodden, mistreated, and lonely (etc) AND what have we done Personally to assist them, and lift them out of their despair?
Coming from a broken (Single parent)and poor family, I've seen this first hand. The drug and alcohol abuse, the physical abuse, the welfare mentality. A lot of time leading to Jail or prision and/or death. It is a cycle hard to break without intervention by prayer and understanding.
Keep in mind: But for the grace of God, There go I!
But For The Blood
(What For His Blood)
See the man in jail
It could be you
See the man enslaved
It could be you
See the man dead in sin
It could be you
Have you seen his child
It could have been you
But for the blood… But for the sacrifice
But for His love… But for His life
What for His love… What for His sacrifice
What for His Blood… What for His life
See the child in the alley
It could be you
No where to call his home
It could have been you
But for the blood… But for the sacrifice
But for His love… But for His life
What for His love… What for His sacrifice
What for His Blood… What for His life
See the woman in bondage
It could be you
See the woman addicted
It could be you
See the woman beaten
She could be you
See the woman’s children
They could have been you
But for the blood… But for the sacrifice
But for His love… But for His life
What for His love… What for His sacrifice
What for His Blood… What for His life
See the kids in the alley
They could have been you
So go back in the alley
And see what you can do
