English lyricist working with dozens of composers and artists
I am a lyricist working with many composers and artists around the world and most frequently with 2 guys, Juri Rosenfeld and Mark Ellis who, although their styles are entirely different, are both extremely talented as musicians and composers, as well as producers. Along with these two, with whom I have written more than 50 songs....I have been most fortunate to collaborate with so many others that the list is almost endless but two very talented ladies spring to mind: Dawn Diamond and Amy Caldwell, who have not only both composed for my words but have also both are possessed of beautiful voices and have sung many, many times on songs I have written. There is no ONE genre I write for, since a lyricist has to be able to write for ANY category and I do, but one thing I try to be always, is honest in my work because when there is integrity, there is a way to relate to the song and if occasionally I meander into the poetic, it is because I am and always have been, since the age of 13 years, a poet...but that doesn't mean everything I write is flowery or full of metaphors...as I say, I strive always to be real and of course, most importantly, to be as unique as possible.

Story behind the song
Oh the story is one I have told before, a long time ago and I rewrote it to fit with Juri's wonderful music. Dawny Diamond meanwhile grew a tail and started living on a rock in the middle of the ocean....
Lyrics
The Salt of the Sea by Dawn Sinclair V1 I am talking to the ocean But he never answers to me And I’m walking on the soft sand But I know it can't understand V2 Was what we had really true love? Will you tell me when the tide turns again Perhaps what we had was illusion If so, can your waves drown my pain? chorus Must I face the future without him Will the sea tell the secret of this Am I left with an empty tomorrow, the salt of the sea my last kiss? V3 I've been weeping in torment But who is there hearing my prayer? Now he's gone and I'm lonely there is only the sea left to care chorus V4 Yes they say the ocean can listen absorbing the troubles of all just drowning the pain in the darkness no matter how great or how small chorus x 2
