Story behind the song
It was late in the evening, and I had already decided to switch off my computer and grab a good book to go to bed with... but then I sat down again and played along. This is what I came up with, and the title reflect the story. "Wenn die Nacht sich ueber die Daecher legt" means "when the night sets down on the roofs" or something like that - I'm not quite sure how you would say that in English. I'm not a piano player. I played this tune on my synthesizer with lots of errors and used Cubase to fix the mess. Hopefully there is still a little feeling left.
