Jazz arrangement of this beautiful piece from the lute suite in E minor of J.S.Bach. (2006). Jazz starts at 2.05 min
Although Bach didn't play the lute himself, he wrote some pieces for the 'Lute harpsichord' (German: 'Lautenwerk' - a harpsichord with gut strings) obviously with the lute in mind. Later these pieces were adopted and arranged for the baroque lute by the lutenists of his time.
This Sarabande is from the suite in E minor BWV-996. I am playing it on the Crafter guitar in rubato style (without strict measure). My apologies to those who find that any arrangement of Bach's music is unacceptable.
