Story behind the song
Melody came to Andrew's head in London (England) in the area of South Kensington, right on the street (no guitar). He thought it will be 'playful' Mungo Jerry mood song... But months passed by, and there were no lyrics. When, eventually, the current words arrived, it was difficult to keep the initial attitude.
Lyrics
Yes, war is hell, But peace is "kind of" boring You're doing well Until you're good with gun. "All things must pass" - There's nothing to be worrying. You're pressing hook - They're shout, fall, and run. So good - so far. You feel like super star. You feel like real hero. You feel like mighty tzar. So far - so good. It looks a little rude, But they are greedy Neros, And you are - Robin Hood Yes, watching [is] shame, But you are not like others. Nobody blame you, Even if they know It's real fun, What can be done with "bugs" now - You feel like God Creating other worlds. So good - so far. You feel like super star. You feel like real hero. You feel like mighty tzar. So far - so good. It looks a little rude, But they are bloody Neros, And you are - Robin Hood But life - is life: With the heart drown down in sorrow, You left some guys Still running on the screen You have to go, But you'll be back tomorrow. You'll bring more coins, You'll learn new tricky things. So good - so far. You feel like super star. You feel like real hero. You feel like mighty tzar. So far - so good. It looks a little rude, But they are singing Neros, And you are - Robin Hood October 14, 2004, London (England) February 7-9, 2005, Toronto Copyright (C) Andrew P., 2004-2005 Most of Andrew's lyrics are available at http://www.altitudesite.com/andrew/andrew's_lyrics.htm
