This track is born as part of the major opera who is our 3rd CD, "Time Traveller" and is getting the title from an historical event: a great battle of thr ancient history between Hittites and the Egyptians of Ramses II, a battle between the two greatest Powers of their times near the independent city-state of Kadesh, also spelled "Qadesh" (one of the border "neutral" countries who played with the dangerous political game to change the allied great power accordingly with the nearest army who would menace the city).
While Ramses claimed it as a great Egyptian victory, moden history reports it as a major draw or a "Pirric Victory" at the very best.
But the most important result of this battle was the very first written peace treaty in human history, and that peace endured for nearly half a century.
Almost unbelievable, for ancient times.
Well, actually almost unbelievable also for modern times, if you think that in the last two centuries it happened just from the end of World War II to present day, limited to just some Western Country such The Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden or Belgium and a few others.
The treaty bond that was established was inscribed on a silver tablet, of which a clay copy survives.
An enlargement of the clay tablet hangs on a wall at the headquarters of the United Nations, as one of the earliest international peace treaties.
