Story behind the song
It is the 15th centuary, the King has ordered a Royal birthday celebration for his Queen. The feast is before them and it's magnificence is breathtaking.Courtiers have been invited from all Royal households stretching far and wide.The King and Queen enter the great hall to admiring guests.The entourage includes our Lady in Waiting who steals the limelight with her beauty.Even the Queen is envious of the attention our Lady unknowingly commands.When all are seated the entertainment begins and jesters, musicians, and acrobats perform. Dancing ensues until the ambience is broken by the arrival of Count Andreas from Cadiz, this dark stranger's eyes fall immediately towards our Lady in Waiting, who is totally smitten.Love at first sight......
