Story behind the song
Wrote this one for my forever girl, who got me off the dating trail. Though our love may have many years under its belt, it still rocks.
Was very inspired after listening to Dylan's Blonde on Blonde for the first time and thought I could do something along those lines, the same type of snap. Had two musical ideas and put them together. ET sings the song so well, I'm glad we are working together. My original thought was a more rock version, but the Coastal Cowboy in me just can not be hog tied! The lyrics for 'She Fixes Me' at one point nearly had this music. Also wanted to write a Want, Need, Love song. Kind of has a 'Never My Love' feel to it. Could easily see someone like George Strait doing this song and getting a huge, Huge, HUGE HIT! On Demo V4: Guitars used: (Sunny, Jewels, Amber) - Fender Stratocaster (Sunny)on rhythm and fills, Korg AX30 guitar effects board, Alesis SR-16 drum machine, Ibanez GSR200 Bass (Jewels), Black Cresent tambourine (Shure condenser mic AX-15), put on the Roland 840EX and optically loaded onto the Korg 1600M2. Added Aria PE-90 (Amber) for the solo, Octava 319 mic, Bellari Pre-amp for vocals. The Judge will have to give you the strings info. (Korg DW8000 and Fender P-bass)
