Story behind the song
This song hopes to evoke some guilt about this administration's 'questionable' war with Iraq and our domestic policies. I support the troops 1000% but when one dies I imagine it being my son and I wonder how much oil is worth.
Lyrics
OH PRESIDENT Vocal: Phil Thomson Copyright Louis Brown Oh President, the truth...the truth is dying From glen to glen and, aye, from shore to shore You fibbed on tax, Iraq and yes on Enron It's such a crock the Devil can't keep score The WMD's were not there as you promised You dodged and said,"But we're there for liberty" You vowed we'd change ole Babylonia's culture... That's just too much "babaloney" there for me SO TURN YE BACK AND END YOUR FABRICATIONS PROCLAIM YE NOT THE TRUTH WITH FORKED TONGUE YOUR CAMPAIGN LIES, THE FLIMFLAM AND PURE HOGWASH OH PRESIDENT, THE EXCREMENT GOES ON AND ON You've gone to church to make that Great Connection He won't take calls from you upon His line Cause what you did regarding the election His lightning strikes [sound effects] must spook you every time CHORUS TAG: OH, PRESIDENT PLEASE DON'T STEP IN IT TODAY
