A simple Rock n Roll/Country song, sung by Sarah White.
A fun Rock n Roll/Country song, sung by Sarah White
It was written about 15 years ago.
I rang my sister Caroline, and laid my feelings on the line,
I said you drove me crazy from the start,
She told me she was glad I called, but wasn’t any help at all,
She said I’d got to look inside my heart.
I rang my pa and told him some of all the fallin’ out we’d done,
About all the stresses and the strife,
He just reminded me of when I started out on the datin’ scene
When I said “Leave me alone…it’s my life!”
Chorus
I’m in two minds now….makin’ tracks or stayin’
I’m in two minds now ..and don’t know what to do,
I’m in two minds now..’cause I feel that it’s not workin’
But the trouble is I still love you.
I rang my ma in Arkansaw, thinkin’ that from afar,
She’d give me a clearer point of view,
She said “Darlin’ if he treats you right, get back on track tonight”
Just what does she think I’m tryin’ to do!
Optional Bridge (not on recording)
I don’t know what to do or where to go from here,
Maybe when he smiles again, it’ll work out fine,
They don’t realise, they just don’t understand
How I can truly hate and love this crazy man of mine.
I’m in two minds now….makin’ tracks or stayin’
I’m in two minds now ..and don’t know what to do,
I’m in two minds now..’cause I feel that it’s not workin’
But the trouble is I still love you.
But the trouble is I still love you.
