A song from the project, "St. Christopher's Sin". Sort of moody, ethereal, with a western feel to it. TK on guitar and programming.

Story behind the song
T.K. wrote the intro riff and I built a song around it. Its about a decent into madness, but the protagonist doesn't want help, he just wants to take someone down with him. ...or something like that. Set against a minor/major guitar thing. Gives it a kinda of melancholy new-wave-western groove. (Pitched this one to Chris Isaak as well..same old story...LOL)
Lyrics
The End of My Rope Lyrics and music c. Steve Waddington I dont' know how I can go on Don't know how much I can take Just how far can a willow bend Before its branches break I'm at the end of my rope I'm at the end of my rope My mind is off in the distance I'm falling over the edge Don't try to hold me responsible For anything that I've said I'm at the end of my rope I'm at the end of my rope Full of frustration, fresh out of hope I feel like I'm swingin'... ...at the end of my rope You know you're welcome to join me You know that there'll always be An open invitation to swing out here with me Sometimes I start to get dizzy When the rope starts to sway Don't bother trying to reach me I'm going down anyway I'm at the end of my rope I'm at the end of my rope Full of frustration, fresh out of hope I feel like I'm swingin'... ...at the end of my rope I'm at the end of my rope...
