Story behind the song
When writing this song the image that came to me was ground zero with the smoke still rising, burned and broken steal beams protruding from the ashes. That image still comes to me each and every time I play the song.
This duet is a representation of the twin towers which stood side by side. Each tower had it’s own character and presence both were brought down in a senseless act of terror. Should you visit the site today you can still feel the presence of our fallen brothers and sisters. This song is meant to be a tribute to them all.
