Story behind the song
When I first wrote Amthyst Crystal I new exactly what type of beat I needed for it. I heard the beat at Grafic's studio in Raptor's yard and new I had to put the Amethyst Crystal lyrics on it. But I allowed it for a few months and when I went back to the studio still no MC had claimed it. I recorded this just before Mongo laid his vocals down on DnD. I made alot of funny tracks but I have an English Literature and Philosophy degree and I was put on this earth to do more than just entertain, I was put here to enlighten. I started writing to redress the balance and add some substance to the humour. After about a month or so I had 64 bars of deepness known only as Amethyst Crystal...
