Story behind the song
THis is collab number three between Mike Milillo and myself. I added the trumpet to this song, written and performed by Mike.
THis one took a while, the bassline is very open to whatever you want to do, like free jazz. The melody line on this one was one of the more complicated ones I've worked on, both to play and to analyze. Mike's mind is way ahead of a lot of people I've worked with, which makes it a challenge and fun whenever he comes up with something.
