Story behind the song
My version of this classic traditional folk song was recorded live in a studio in Bath, UK, several years ago. It is sung with the woman's lyrics which I learned from Dylan. The studio belonged to Keith Lunt and he was making it available to Bath street muicians to record for free for a planned charity CD compilation. This was part of my contribution. The saw-player was a guy I met there called Hawk. This song did very well on mp3.com.
