Story behind the song
This is a very open and honest song about sin and repentance. Sin acts as a wall between us and God so every worship service should include repentance so that we can come to God with a pure heart. However we are sinful and can't help it, so we recognize the need for God to come in and save us from ourselves. This is one of my favorite songs on the album.
