One of the great joys in life has been to lead people into a faith relationship with Jesus Christ. The very first time I had that experience was among little children at Swansea Mews. We taught Bible clubs there for 6 years.

Story behind the song
In the first days of my walk with Christ, my mom threw Dianne and me into the deep end. We knew nearly nothing about our faith, but went to preach the gospel in an Ontario Housing project. We continued for 6 years. I wanted this to be simple, so I just sat down with the guitar and played and sang it. This was a somewhat altered take where I played the guitar and then added the voice.
Lyrics
I remember the kids at Swansea Mews. We were sent to tell them the Good News. Their eyes were big their hearts fragile. Their lives were young but their ways were wild. We were just days old in our faith, And stood in desperate need of grace. Dianne's quiet voice held sway. And told them softly of God's ways. I remember the Mews! I remember the Mews! I sang them songs about the Lord, They joined in tuneful, sweet discord. Their voices raised in manic joy. Earth bound angels: girls and boys. In every lesson that we taught, The gospel was the gold we brought. How Christ came to break bread with them, Forgive their sin and live within! I remember the Mews! I remember the Mews! There I knew one of earth's great joys, Christ entered the hearts of girls and boys. I know of 11 that prayed the prayer, Gave their hearts to Jesus then and there. But we left seed in their young hearts, For the Holy Spirit to do His part. And perhaps in some dark time of life, Those words came back like beams of light! I remember the Mews! I remember the Mews! Laura, Cathy, Tina and Roy, Kyle and Kelly and Brenda Joy. Sonja and Nancy and Laurie D. All of these kids are precious to me. Shazia, Lisa and Rahan, I commit them all into God's great hands. Whenever I think of Swansea Mews, I thank God we could share good news! I remember the Mews! I remember the Mews! God, remember those children too.
