I've had alot of frustration since the 2016 election ended. This is just a hard pill to swallow for me, and this song was a good release for me to write. God help us all and keep us safe the next 4 years...a miracle would be good too!

Hi there...I'm just a solo artist at the time. Just a simple songwriter, trying to get a few good songs down on tape. I write some folk rock, ballads, and a country song now and then. Have previously recorded a demo tape in studio and hated it, the project ended up not sounding like me and my music, so I'm working on my own music now with my own 4trk at home. I'm not really trying to do anything with my music anymore, I just write and play for my own soul and satisfaction. Not too many things in life make me feel as alive and happy as when I'm jammin' out or working on a tune. I hope you enjoy these little pieces of life from me......and if you're so inspired, please leave me your thoughts on the message board. :)

Story behind the song
I've been having stress and little sleep and had to deal with alot of hate and harrassments online as well since this election ended. It's a scary, hateful, dark world we are now facing...lots of negative things are beginning to be rolled out...and i really feel like half this country was blind to the monster they elected. I think if this billionaire buffoon is inducted into office we are in for a long dark ride....it's time to wake up America and see what's coming....make a stand for what's good and right and protect what's yours before it's gone.

Hi strummer girl, Wanted to hear the song that got you recording again You story is well told. I do not consider myself to be a sheep. You probably would not like my hope and change song much. LOL! Glad to see you back!!

A song reflecting the challenging times we're all living through. In the UK we've decided to leave the European Union, the EU has brought peace and political/economic stability since the end of WWII. I have every confidence though that we'll all get through it and hopefully be a little wiser. Peace
