'City No More'
Look around you now
Look around and tell me what you wanna see
A planet broken down
Is this the change that you wanted to be?
Walls are being built
Keeping people out and keeping them in
Power has no guilt!
War is a game that nobody wins
And it's the season of goodwill but where is the love?
Another year older and I don't feel wiser...
My eyes are closed, I'm running, wake me up!
Someone's keeping count
It don't mean a thing behind fences and guns
This was once a town
Now there's only dust where someone belonged
The TV news is raw
All talk and pain and the battles rage on
Who knows the score?
Another headline tells of a city no more
And it's the season of goodwill but where is the love?
Another year older and I don't feel wiser...
My eyes are closed, I'm running, wake me up!
Look around you now
Look around and tell me what you wanna see
A planet broken down
Is this the change that you wanted to be?
Walls are being built
Keeping people out and keeping them in
Power has no guilt!
War is a game that nobody wins
And it's the season of goodwill but where is the love?
Another year older and I don't feel wiser...
My eyes are closed, I'm running, wake me up!
