Lyrics
The last Train (01/2016) It is almost midnight - I see a man on the road He looks old and alone and he walks real slow There are signs on his face and scars on his hands that tell the story of a hard working man that tell the story of a hard working man. Slowly he leans towards the elevator door pushing the knob - going to the first floor walks out on the platform his tears blends with the rain he's only going one stop - with the last train When the last train arrives he says - I hope it breaks real slow and once I'm on board, let it gently roll towards my final destination with no delay no rush no bumps no pain I'v already waited way too long for the last train I've been waiting for the last train Solo He looks at the clock - thinking - what does it tell The time that is left, - or the time that has passed away The chill of the night gently touches his skin as the sound of the train is slowly brought closer to him. When the last train arrives he says - I hope it breaks real slow and once I'm on board, let it gently roll towards my final destination with no delay no rush no bumps no pain I'v already waited way too long for the last train I've been waiting for the last train He’ll be waiting For the last train.
