For the CBC Challenge - TIME. We live in the past and dream of the future, but if we could travel through time it might be best to travel to NOW.

The song has two themes interwoven in the same lyrics. The first is that we live in the past and think of the future. Thus we are rarely living in the moment which is often the most important time we should experience.
The second theme is about how the time we have in our lives runs out. As we approach the end of our time, the increments of time we mark off become ever more minute. Eventually we come to a point where we don't expect more time, where each second becomes precious.
Time was once,
But time is past.
A god has died,
He’s breathed his last.
Tomorrow, Today, Yesterday
Have no meaning Now.
I’d walk on stones
And ancient bones
If only time would allow.
[Long Bridge]
Time has come
To only this
A cup of wine,
A lingering kiss.
The Future, the Past, the Present day
Have become this single hour.
A minute, a second, a simple prayer.
No – More – Time.
