This is a bluesy collaboration by Dave Hensley and myself. Simple yet very soulful. Vocals initially pulled off the cuff, I just felt it and sang it. Have a listen and you'll be "hooked," This also features some tasteful guitar by Ricky Metz
Story behind the song
Dave wrote the music while I was on hiatus for a year. Hit me with it when I returned, said he called it, "The World I know," and it really grabbed me. I ran through it a couple times, just feeling the music and the vocals kind of wrote themselves. I really love this song.
