Really nicely done on the guitar. Great vocals. I take it this is a cover? Who does this song by the way. Great job pine.

Love the back-country feel of this one Charlie! Slide guitar and banjo really add that nostalgia. It does seem the older I get, the more I'm in the way (or as the young would say "out of touch"). They have a lifetime to learn ;^)) Cheers to the oldsters!

Well you might be old, but you still got it, man. I just love this version of one of my favorite tunes. Makes me want to build a little cabin in the woods and reflect. Great harmonies! So high & lonesome I can almost smell wood smoke in the air. Keep up the good work!

great job on this, my friend. solid vocals and i too like that banjo solo. its a well put together piece. this is where you rest easiest in the musical spectrum and it shows in this tune. as far as being old and in the way, whose way you going to get in, the squirrels? love the geezer picture with the pipe....now that does look like you.

It's becoming my life story too mate but I don't think I'm in the way just yet but I'm getting there.Well you did it again and made a basic life observation on something quite sad sound upbeat your own personal take on these things lifts the spirits because of your genuine warmth.Guitar strummin' banjo pluckin' bottleneck slidin' gem from the ol' back catalogue .
