A poignant ballad of appreciation....
This song is a collaboration between Come Winter and Andrew LeFevre who wrote this great lyric, which, he confides, was inspired by John Hawksley.
Verse one
There's so much, I need to say
The right time just seems, to slip away
I can no longer go on
thinking that you´ll always be right there
When I see, you´re not so strong
Verse two
There's so much, I want to do
To show you how much, I really care
And I know I can't go on
believing you'll always be there
When I see you´re not so young
Chorus
Every waking moment deep inside
I can feel your loving presence in my life
Every waking moment deep inside
I can feel your loving presence in my life
You shaped the mould
and cast the one
I've come to be
There is so much of you
in me
Verse three
When your here, it's all so clear
How our lives are oh, so inter twinned
And when I was out of line
You were somehow always there for me
You still showed me how to shine
Chorus
Every waking moment...
Break
Coming home
after a long spell working here
All on my own
It's though I had never been away
Wish I could capture moments
slow the hands of time
Wish I could capture moments
slow the hands of time
Hands of time
Verse four
Though your far, you're ever near
Memories of you, are oh-so dear
And I know we´ll meet again
Circles never ever end
I'll be home on the last train
Chorus
Every waking moment...
