They conquered the land using newfound instruments,

Spread 'round the world in nomadic fashion,
Until a home was found for this biological faction,
They planted crops and they domesticated beasts,
Developed culture and religion, yet there still was no peace,
When the war on Nature was won, they turned on themselves,
Inequality rose up, a separate Heaven and a Hell,
"The chosen ones" then became "the chosen few",
Disproportionate allotments of resources and food,
As the despot sat bathing in the glory of his reign,
And the oppressed worker suffered in constant pain,
Both unaware that they share a common link,
An ancestry that is much closer than they think.
