Sleep In Peace My Brother

This song is a loving "see you soon" from one brother to another. It's a fond reminiscence of days gone by, but it is not a farewell. These brothers know that someday, they will again be reunited to relive forever, the greatest days of their lives

Lyrics
Sleep In Peace My Brother Far beyond life's horizons And past its lonely hills There is a land Where time stands still Where little boys' dreams Still float in the air If you get there first Please wait for me there pre-chorus We'll sail the ocean and fight pirates by day At night we'll touch the stars In rocket ships we made Chorus Sleep in peace my brother Beneath the willows in the glen You loved me like no other My brother, my friend Life is a journey and you led the way I followed your footsteps every day You showed me the life I wanted to lead I've done my best To make you proud of me pre-chorus Our love was lived each day If not always spoken Despite all space and time Our bond can't be broken Chorus Sleep in peace my brother Beneath the willows in the glen I loved you like no other My brother, my friend Bridge There were so many times You held my hand Other times you carried me Like “Footprints in the Sand” Chorus (So)Sleep in peace my brother Beneath the willows in the glen You loved me like no other My brother, my friend Sleep in peace my brother Till I see you again I loved you like no other My brother, my friend

Hey Roy . . . I really enjoyed this song so very much. I think it's my favorite so far from the Ranger Collection. Your vocal delivery and tone is just perfect for this song and your guitar and recording sound really fine. And the lyrics are very heartfelt and yes, very relatable to many of us. Fine job Roy.
