Story behind the song
Back in the 1980's I was a member of a band called, Silent Network. The lyrics for this song were scribbled down by our female vocalist, Jackie Lister. The music was dreamed up by Martin Warhurst (keyboards and bass guitar). I added all the guitar flavourings to the arrangement.
On this new version I played all the instruments and as I wanted to feature a female lead vocal, I asked Rodrica Rudge if she'd like to add her vocals to my new recording. Well, that was quite a while ago. The long wait is over. Rodrica has finally got around to finishing it off. (didn't mean it like that !) :) ha ha.
