Story behind the song
Beside irish folk, rock music is definitely the kind of music which I love most. Therefore "rockin' landlady" is one of my favourite tunes. It consists of two trad. tunes "drunken landlady" and "cooley's". First we had some difficulties to merge this two tunes into one, until I once heard Barbara playing the guitar riff (on the fiddle) of a good old classic rock song that goes by the name eye of the tiger. So there it was! the perfect bridge leading in the second tune which made the landlady even more rockin'.
