God gave me this song in 1982 to encourage all Christians to fight on in this spiritual battle against Satan ans his demonic army. To be strong in the lord and his mighty power, to be courageous, militant and never give up! The music and the lyrics are a marriage made in heaven because it has a military drive and feel for spiritual warfare. The sound of the marching drums and reveille at the intro of the song is a call to wake up and get to the battlefield and engage in the war of the ages. The kingdom of light against the kingdom of darkness! Ephesians 6:11 TELL US TO PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD THAT WE MAY BE ABLE TO STAND AGAINST THE "SCHEMES" OF THE DEVIL!
