Big Sleep is the name of the imaginary 'band/group, that all the music I create with my friend and musical collaborator, Tony Webster goes under. Tony is pictured on the right in the photo; me on the left in the dark blue suit.
Tony is an artist / illustrator, writer of lyrics and stories, song arranger and a mine of information on any subject under the sun . . .
I (David A Briggs) play all the instruments (mostly of the stringed variety), perform all the studio 'jiggery-pokery', sing and dabble a little in the visual arts.

I don't know how you always manage to combine the nostalgic with the inventive and innovative...I suppose that's what makes your music stand out - It's engaging and familiar, yet so very creative and contemporary. A loud, brassy, punchy song that you just can't stop yourself enjoying. Superb.
