Story behind the song
When I heard the music of Bathsheba from this artist Peter Mobeter (Uncle Bibby) I knew that the Lord would have me sing to this song. Bathsheba or Bathshua is by definition Daughter of the Oath or Daughter of Seven: Seven is in the hebraic system means rest or death and so we see that Bathsheba means Daughter of the Rest as well. We later see that a virgin shall have a Son and call His name Immanuel. Interestingly Jesus is called the Son of David and with understanding we know that Solomon was the Son of David. With more understanding we know that Solomon was loved by God and in His reign was peace and much rest from the wars of David His father brought about by the insistence of his mother Bathsheba to Nathan and to David about her son being placed on the throne as promised. In the last chapter of Proverbs Lemuel recounts the prophecy of his mother from which he Lemuel was the Son of Her vows. We see the same with Jesus being the Son of an oath and a promise being the Son of David and whose mother was Mary but more so the Holy Spirit being born of the Spirit of God. We see then His Holy Mother being the Rest Jesus promises all who will come unto Him. We also see that Jesus gives us the Promise (Oath) as a Gift. The Church of God and His Body and Bride is called the Daughter of Zion many times in scrip INVALID ure and now we see that this daughter is so because her members partake of the Same Spirit the Holy Spirit and so we see God Himself as the Daughter of the Rest the Rest the Father of all and the Mother of all and the Son of God. All of this in Bathsheba. All glory be to God!
