This is a blues in tribute to Mothers , all Mothers and the special place they hold in our lives. It was propmted by the sad loss of a webcolleagues own Mother. A Collaboration with Viking Blues, Blackhorse, Halfblind Lefty and Blindboy.

Story behind the song
In the early part of 2011 the members of the 12bar.de forum ( a place for Blues men and ladies ) were greatly saddened to hear of the Forum Principle’s very sudden and painful loss of his own Mother.
Many lovely things were written for him on a special thread.
Some time after this event ...............I got a thought about this place being a Blues Forum ......and I really felt that something ought to be expressed musically.
Unfortunately, at that stage I was more than a bit stumped ........as I'd never created a Blues song before, from scratch......However , we have super folk on 12 bar.de - who can ... and who did help.
So, with an Idea in mind and a few scribbled headlines for verses ...I contacted a couple of folk via pm .....and before you knew it we had written and created a new Blues song ......
The song is dedicated to 12 bar
This is an original song, written recorded and mixed by ...Myself , Strummer07 with Viking Blues and Blackhorse as the main collaborators but with some special guest appearances from non other than HalfBlindLefty and Blindboy ......
Without these folk this whole thing would have just remained ... a nice thought...............
