Lyrics
One Heart At A Time little darlin here comes the same sun on the rise lookin up at the same moon that rode a Woodstock sky in my heart i still believe all i really need to know is right before my eyes every minute, every day never believed in revolution back in '69 looked into eyes so filled with hate i could never be that kind got myself back to the land like i heard sweet Joni say to try and find my way every minute, every day vote all you want the wars go on let the truth be told the only change that you can hope for is in your heart and soul little darlin its a long road and the way is hard to find in my mind and everywhere all i hear is i, me, mine in my heart i still believe all i really need to know is right before my eyes every minute, every day One heart at a time sound clips of kennedy, king, nixon, sounds of vietnam The Little Song (with no name) round and round and round i go staring in my one man show i've really nothing more to say so i'll make my weary way back home, back home if only you could take my hand and lead me to the promised land, to the promised land one last kiss, one last song i must be off and the way is long, so long, so long

Ditto...There was a time ....Love the effect on my fragile heart Thanks Gabe ..Yes Some of the Best music was in the 60's & early 70's no doubt about that, & its our generation thats keeping it in mind..of course it can only be better..how fortunate we were & are to have known where we came from. During the draft since Tony brought it up, l had 5 dodgers living in my house....ssssHHHH NO l never did believe in war..It was our generation that stopped the nonsense with our music...Factual & Interesting. Sry if some don't like that but l'd do it again, esp t/Senseless Vietnam One... Times have changed & so have we..Good Music is the only thing that remains..& tells his-story. Now its just new & improved :( ..Got that off my chest :) xo See What a song can do..:) x

Love the guitar work! A great retro flavor to this one - George Harrison would have been proud to call this his own. Superb sound effects and a very sweet and reflective ending.

Hi Gabe, The opening guitar grabbed me and then the opening line really took me farther along. Great historical trip. And for the young uns they wouldnt get it but I love it. Excellent production again/still/always. Very imaginative way to weave the many lyrics together. (I did a song of emitt rhodes lyrics like this never recorded it). Sound effects add authenticity to the mood I am already in. I assume the chopper towards the end was a vietnam chopper. A good friend of mine was a gunner on a chopper there. He has quite a few stories. He is your age and thanks to Tricky Dick I did not have to go. I had a low number but he stopped the draft the year I would have gone. So what if he was a crook? Great song! Whole new song on the ending part.

Way Cool Gabe! Superb singing and playing in a capital way. This song is so smooth and nostalgic that I found myself smiling, tapping my foot and reminiscing throughout the entire track. But, I much come back to your vocals…You have such an engaging quality to your vocals. Your approach expresses human emotion at its core which emanates to all who listens…This is truly a gift. Sensational work my friend

Some of the greatest music was written in the late 60s and early 70s by the greatest artists this world has ever known....this combination of yours is no exception, it captures that era and is great in every way, the lyrics, the awesome vocals and the way you combined the two into this romantic gem.

This is easily the best 5 minutes of my day so far. This song gets better with every listen Gabe. It's truly epic in it's scope and depth. You've done alot of tunes but this may well be your best yet. The message may be vague for a teenager, but to an oldster like me, it's as clear as a sky of blue. Thanks also for sharing all the lyrics in writing..it makes the song all the more enjoyable for us hearing impaired folks. Standing ovation on this one my friend... Pine
