Jen, I liked this line a lot:

I also like the rest of the lyrics, the last verse maybe the weakest, though it represents your conclusion.

Really nice. I like the breaks in the chorus, nice pause for effect. The lyrics are intelligent and the verses tell the story in such a way to support the point well. Your vocal talent is as obvious as it is rare. Great work!

Very nice Jen. Pretty darn good guitar playing for someone who has only played for a short while. Good melody and vocals. And of course the lyrics are excellent! Extra stars for the lyrics! This song needs to be heard!

Good song & good recording here, Jen! You certainly don't sound like like someone who's only been playing for a short time--good secure rhythm playing with a nice emphatic break. It sounds like a nicely balanced instrument to me.
Great vocal performance here--really, soulful with laser intonation. You can sing! And I can relate to the lyrics, tho my own bling bling has been an unfortunate weakness for musical instruments...

This is the best song I've heard today! You say not too deep but this is a well. Wish i would have wrote it . You got it so right! and you delivered it so well.
