Great piano playing!
The cello "version" you recall is probably the Prelude in G of the Suite Nr. I for Cello; it has similarities to the Prelude in C for Piano Solo, but it's a distinct work.

Yes, I acknowledge the "twist" around bars 6,7 now. Somehow I missed that on the first listening. And there are some extra notes at the end. Nice arrangement.
Yes; thank God for J. S. Bach, and all the greats from the Rennaisance period of the late 1600's & up. Good taste on your part to include this arrangement into your musical roster. Class acts seem to gather together in this whirlwind of affairs, called life.........Merlin, the Mystic.
