English lyricist working with dozens of composers and artists
I am a lyricist working with many composers and artists around the world and most frequently with 2 guys, Juri Rosenfeld and Mark Ellis who, although their styles are entirely different, are both extremely talented as musicians and composers, as well as producers. Along with these two, with whom I have written more than 50 songs....I have been most fortunate to collaborate with so many others that the list is almost endless but two very talented ladies spring to mind: Dawn Diamond and Amy Caldwell, who have not only both composed for my words but have also both are possessed of beautiful voices and have sung many, many times on songs I have written.
There is no ONE genre I write for, since a lyricist has to be able to write for ANY category and I do, but one thing I try to be always, is honest in my work because when there is integrity, there is a way to relate to the song and if occasionally I meander into the poetic, it is because I am and always have been, since the age of 13 years, a poet...but that doesn't mean everything I write is flowery or full of metaphors...as I say, I strive always to be real and of course, most importantly, to be as unique as possible.

You take us on a trip to the dark side on this one, expertly done. A particularly intriguing lyric. Love it!! Good arrangement with some good keyboard/guitar work. Vocal is perfect for this song.

OOh this is an absolute cracker - The way it builds is great. Love the singing style, the backing, the reverb sound in production and of course the fabulous lyrics!

Starts off quite dark this one Dawn but builds up very nicely - I could see this being played / performed at a big festival. I could even see Robbie Williams doing this except Tom does it so well anyway.

Ms Dawn,
wow ,very spacey, different, the sythisizer sounds are great , I really like the bass lines reminds me of trance or rave music . Your lyrics are very sparse but effective in this song , I wonder this came about ? I really liked the ending instrumental and then right at 4:15 it just stopped , I could listen to this alot .
cheers

Unique and impressive song - both musically and lyrically! Did the lyric come first on this one?

Huggles again sweets,
This is an interesting piece, I can see it as a backing to a chiller thriller spooky or even a spooky sci fi movie. Really enjoyed the sound and the lyrics. Another great collab.

This one ,once again, sounds so fresh and effortless, although I'm feelin' like findin' an' ol' pal.Cool! "Tommorow never knows" and some of Harrissons songs came to mind.Really like it.Lyrics is there,as always.Delivery smooth and artful.
Is there any kind of lyric you can't master? You are skillful with words in any style. These lyrics paint a very visual picture for me, especially when supported by the fantastic music. I too loove the way this builds. And I love it when Tom lets go....aaaaahhhhhhh....I'm also a huge fan of Life tastes better Outside (and know all the words) this is going on my station!!! I really like it. huggzies, A
