Thanks for the memories! I saw a band called "The mud flaps" do this some yeas ago in Tulsa Oklahoma at the October fest and really got the crowd going. A real toe tappin' sing a long song! Nice work on the vocals and all the instrumentation, it has a nice live feel to it. A real pleasure!

Glad I stopped by and found this ol' gem. I like they way you did it here too. It has all the elements of a campfire band. Nice one!

Wonderful rendition Charlie!!! This is the way I imagine America sometimes, that country style and the vocals so typical for a southern tune/blue grass song..... you really made a fantastic job!! My compliments for this cover my friend, excellent production!! :)

I'm not familiar with the original, so this has been a great introduction to very catchy song. Beautifully produced and performed. Love those vocal and the harmonies too.

A wonderful time-honored cover Charlie. Cool guitar/banjo playing with great singing and nice harmonies. Love the old time radio song pix. A pleasure to listen to.
I like it, Charlie. You strike a nice balance here - updated but still well on the traditional side of things. Hard not to hum along.

Nice song, Charlie. Very loyal to the tradition, but still with a twist, like the vocal harmonies. The cracks in your voice sound a bit "tongue in cheek"? Somehow you managed to incorporate almost all the traditional features of a real old-style country song. Even the lyrics have that quality of a "back to basics" country style. You nail it perfectly!

Awesome vocals and harmonies Charlie! Cool banjo and very nice bass work. Nice chickin pickin' on the git fiddle as well. Very nicely done!
