This one says so much in so few words. This is the real deal, Americana at its best.

Real people, real life, the struggle of working folks, authentic ( I use that word a lot with your music ' cos that's what it is )Americana, great guitar sound, the banjo is there cos it's meant to be,along with the slide, the background vocals fit like a glove,an image of somewhere in American history I could only get from a song like this and a guy like you as I sit here in Cambridgeshire England, ignorant of these things that happened in a country I can only imagine and be intensely moved.

Im thankful to hear you again. Yes long tome ago we met in Mixposure. Im not so active as before but still playing the blues. You mentioned "Monday was a bad day" oh yes long time ago. I lost this song with a PC crash. Your music is amazing and surprising (as always).especially your crystal clear acoustic guitar playing. Best regards and all the best- I will continue my visits on your page!!!ERik

Great, great song! Vibrant mix with a superb sound, and wonderful Dobro slide just perfect. Vocal and lyrics are the best bit, though - real quality in your voice telling that poignant true tale. I'm a sucker for a story song and this is a great one - you wrote a movie in 16 lines. Fantastic work!

Well your time off sure paid off with this one! This one could be heard on about any country radio station in ky! Fantastic. I am downloading and shipping it to my folks.. Thank you Pine. I sure have been missing home. Missed you too my friend!
So funny, I am just thinking of doing an ultra slow cover of SIXTEEN TONS which covers a similar topic. Maybe after listening to your great tune I won´t! Because this is outstanding stuff. Wonderful dobro, picking, singing, and of course great, great lyrics! As I said: Outstanding song! Cheers from Frankfurt
