Howdy Tony,
Superbly written and performed in every way!!!!! I didn't get to hear the other piano player, but I hear why you hired the new one (Ms. Tammy).....she tickled the keys beautifully!!!!! Hire the singer and the other musicians too, Tony... 8 ) .......excellent work and solid reflection of relations gone awry...... a gorgeous song!!!!!!!!

Tony
You and Tammy did a wonderful collab here. This song has a definite Beatles feel to it. This song is well-written, painting a picture of how so often in relationships, we are too pre-occupied to communicate properly. Great job!

Enjoyed the listen a lot, it's obvious a lot of work went into this, with wonderful results. So well written, classic, catchy, and memorable.....love everything about this. (and Tammy sounds fab as well!)

Tony ,
your 5 star hot clikcer here, the first thing I notice is it is so Beatley , in it's 3/4 waltzy melody , Sir Paul liked 3/4 and ragtime and such older styles of music especially on the white Album, the acoustic in conjunction with the piano makes me imagine I am hearing a harpsichord , nice production and mix , the lyrics remind me of " For no one " and " she's leaving home ", yes very touching images , one cooment i would make is i would have liked to hear more of the horn solo , personal taste ,
cheers

This song is very well written and a waltz is a great changeup from all the 4/4 stuff we do. Tammy's keys are in perfect time. Her harmonies fatten out the chord nicely. Great Beatles '67-68 feel. I think a build down after the first bridge to nothing but piano and voice would have been a nice contrast to the rest of the track where most of the instruments are going for most of the song. I could pick on you here but the song is so melodic I can't go through with it.
The lyrics are stunningly poignant and speak to the millions of marriages that end in stony sadness. Your ability to weave phrases that paint gripping emotional portraits is very, very impressive. The images and emotions are so subtle and yet they hit you like a feight train. Well done on many levels. Congrats!

Wowie! Oldie but Goldie in a new dress.Yes,I can hear the piano by Tammy.Pretty neat addition.Bass is very low in the mix,I can't properly hear it.Despite of this, I enjoyed this song very much.Truly bearing your own signature that's so Fab as Fab can be.

Now, what piano player did you fire again? LOL!!
I enjoyed the opportunity to help you once again. :D
Sounding pretty good. :D
This is a sad song in some ways, but well performed, and the instruments sound good, Tony. :D
This is almost eerie...you sound so much like Paul McCartney in this song! Great job by you and Tammy on this one, nice to hear a song in 3/4 - often not an easy time signature to write in.
