Although hard to categorize, 3rd Charm has been classified as: Nu-punk, Screamo, Hardcore, Emo, punk rock, and straight up rock. Hometown punk-rockers Lee Mckinney and Mark Pavlovcik had been friends since 5th grade. They shared two traits: they both had the same taste in music, and they both played instruments.
