landlord swedish alt country 'This was a strange piece of candy. I can hear some Flying Burito's (Gram Parsons) in there as well as some Buffalo Springfield influences splattered all over this song like so much tie-dye. I like its feel a lot. The lap-steele sonds like a bell in the fog...and I think there's even a bell in there as well. This is a very unique song as far as the more country flavoured tunes go. Lilly Hulsey, 1917 to 1992, was a celebrity in the Oklahoma City area. Known as 'The Last of the Red Hot Mama's' by her fans, she was a Jazz/Blues pianist.
