Hi! I'm a guitarist, singer and songwriter currently living in Fredericton, N.B., Canada. I've been performing music in one way or another since the mid '60's, starting out singing tenor in a barbershop quartet with my brothers and then into a progression of bands playing rock, jazz, blues and country and... whatever. In the music realm, I am known as SmittyG. Nope, that is not my 'rap' name; it's from my time in the Navy. I played drums in school and dabbled on guitar a little bit but, at 17, I discovered the bass and have never looked back. In 2003, I finally joined my first performing band, Deacon Dark.
